This project is the outcome of a semester long Thesis project in the final year of Architecture in the year 2017. The project aims at redesigning the 420 m long stretch of Har-ki-Pauri Ghat (situated in the Haridwar district of state of Uttarakhand), mainly Bhramakund Ghat (place where 'asthi visarjan' is carried out i.e. where the ashes of the dead are dispersed into the flowing river) along the holy river of 'Ganga'. The project also proposes a Tourist Information Center at Har-ki-Pauri for the influx national and international Tourists all year long.
